Kathy Hester, RN, BSN

Kathy has 30+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor/Delivery and Mom-Baby Nursing and is licensed in the state of Kentucky. Kathy is also a Certified Lactation Consultant.

Kira Gavalakis is a proud senior editor at Balboa Baby and a curious, faithful, and ever-inspired supporter of newborns, infants, and toddlers. From teaching children’s gymnastics at age 14, to falling in love with Montessori books at age 21, to working in a music industry nonprofit helping at-risk youth, her heart (and grammar-loving brain) is consistently drawn to help lovingly support the tiny humans that make up our future.

Christy Rivard is a Physician Assistant, mom, and writer. She has bachelor’s degree in psychology from Harvard University and a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant (PA) Studies from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Amanda Dover has been called the called the baby whisperer in her social circles for a reason. She is a mom who is well researched in babies and toddlers. With a Master’s Degree in Reading Education she has been a teacher and loves freelance writing about all things babies.
