I have breastfed my 16 month old since he was born. In fact, I don’t remember the first time I breast fed because I was so exhausted from pushing for 5 hours then having to have a C-section.

I wanted to be the perfect mom by “society’s” standard. Breastfeeding was a must; formula was just too expensive and I wasn’t going down that route unless I had to. Thankfully, I didn’t have to.

Co-sleeping, I had read so many bad things about it and I didn’t want to do it at all. We had Mason in a bassinet next to our bed. As soon as I breastfed him in the middle of the night, I would put him back into his bed next to ours. It was all thrown away when he went into his crib across the hall. I was so tired getting him out of his crib a million times a night, I just brought him to bed with me

I wanted to ‘baby wear’ so desperately. I maybe wore Mason 4 times. He was born weighing 9 lbs, 11 oz and he grew quickly!

My ‘little’ 16 month old now weighs 28 lbs and I never thought I would get to wear him again. (I see all these other mommies doing it effortlessly all the way up until 2 years old, like what!?)

Well, a few months ago, I saw another mommy on Facebook wearing her baby in a sling, on her hip. There was no way that was safe or would it make me comfortable at all. I was so skeptical until Balboa baby let me try theirs.

I cant tell you just how much I like this sling.

The first time I used it, it was a little difficult to adjust by myself, especially with Mason weighing so much but after my husband helping me and a few attempts, I was good to go. I still haven’t taken it out of the comfort of my home because I still want to adjust to it but I wear it all over the house and especially while I am cooking dinner.

My little boy has been sick and ALL he has wanted to do was cuddle, I put him in this sling and he fell asleep on me while I cooked dinner almost every night. It is a life saver! I got the reversible Jersey ring sling and we really like it though I am extremely curious to see how I would like the other ones because they look so much easier to use because the rings look different and they don’t look like they need as much work as this one.

My sling came in about a week, we have been using it for about 2 weeks and I am so happy I found this company.
They have many different patterns and lots of other high quality baby gear! I highly recommend them to any new or veteran mommy 😉
